Remote Teams – How to increase productivity and employee confidence!

The recent COVID outbreak has forced many global businesses to work with remote teams’ concepts. Teamwork is always more productive than individual strategies. But the current scenario has restricted people to work-from-home options, often hampering their creative traits.

Selection of suitable tech tools:

 

Although the workforce engaged in a specific project may be spread over a vast area, there are probably overlapping time zones when all can easily coordinate for required group discussions. Tools such as Hangouts, Google, and Slack provide valuable solutions to allow these meetings to take place.

Project coordination with all remote teams is now easily achievable with software such as Confluence, JIRA, or Asana. These enable straightforward tracking of their productivity.

Try optimising these collaboration tools:

 

A certain set of image-sharing or screen-capture tools like TinyTake, Sangit, and Quicktime may help you out. G Suite, Dropbox, and Microsoft Teams are other file-sharing and communication options. Google Meet is a powerful way to share project reports and carry out crucial meetings with video conferencing.

Generate fruitful process and resources:

 

The greatest anxiety for countless companies is routine, regular and recurring business functions. Whenever appropriate, forming remote-work teams is certainly an intelligent move to enable businesses to explore and develop opportunities in times of crisis.

Creating distinct teams is important for attracting the best candidates, retention, access, and recruitment purposes. A recent Flexjobs survey concluded that around 80% of employees appreciate a flexible work profile – and that these workers become more productive.
